Query about your exhibition.
Dear Ron
I'm Udayan Sankar Pal, a photographer residing in Visakhapatnam, India.
The reason I am sending this mail to you is because we have created an Archive of Photography Exhibitions. Aim of this Archive is to keep records of the exhibitions held worldwide & make this archive as resource for research. We do NOT use this archive for commercial purposes. We are collecting since 2002 & the archive has more than 5000+ brochures in its collection from around the world.
To this effect we would like your help. We would appreciate it very much if you could send us the brochures/ flyers/ synopsis/ invitation cards of your past, ongoing or soon to be conducted photographic exhibitions.
You can visit our website at http://ape.threedots.in for more information. Kindly revert if you have any queries, I will be happy to answer them.

Just wanted to say how beautiful your pictures are, I haven't lived in Chester since 1987 however I do visit 2/3 times a year. I came upon your work via a link on Facebook (Handbridge.com) The photos of the Groves and River Dee in winter are breathtaking!
Thanks for that Karen - much appreciated.

Good to meet you yesterday and fantastic to see your pictures today - an amazing collection.
What settings do you recommend to view the photographs? I have a 22 ins display and resolution set at 1280x768 but it was a shame to have to scroll to see the whole picture in very many cases, even after I had disabled all the optional toolbars.
Hello Berkeley
Thanks for your kind words - glad you enjoyed the collection.
My monitor is an NEC 23" and is set to their recommendation 1920 x 1080. Hope this helps.

Your images of Wales.
Dear Ron,
I have had a look at some of your photographs on this site and on the Cheshire Life website and I am impressed with the quality of the images and your choice of locations.
Some of the photographs in the 'Wales' gallery have been taken in locations that I am familiar with, being born in Cerrig-y-Drudion (in 1934), on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park. It is my favourite location for taking landscape photographs. I live in Cheshire now.
I have to correct your spelling in two instances, both to do with 'Capel Curig' - you spelt it 'Capil Curig'. 'Capel' is the Welsh word for 'Chapel', so think of it as 'Chapel' then drop the 'h', as it were!
If you would like to see some of my photographs, let me have your e-mail address and I will send you a small selection. Landscapes; wildlife (mainly birds) and low-flying military fast jets are my main interests, but will make use of any photographic opportunity.
Wishing you all the best for Christmas and the New Year,
Yours sincerely,
Gwyndaf.
Hi Gwyndaf
Thanks for your kind words (and typos now duly corrected). We like walking and the camera always goes along so you do find the locations on foot which you might not in a car!
I'll send you my e-mail address and look forward to seeing your work.
Best wishes to you

The Pic
Hi Ron
Congrats on the site you have some stunning images, I especially liked some of the trees in winter, some have and IR feel to them. At 1st I thought I had arrived at my own site as the look and feel are very similar - johncharlesphotography.com.
I found your site through The Pic, ( Im a fellow contributor), I am a Brit but I now live in Canada. I noticed that you are affiliated with Clownfish as well as The Pic and I wondered if you would be prepared to have a discussion via email on selling options in the UK and generally how you are finding the volume of sales through The Pic.
Anyway thanks for you time.
John
Hi John
Thanks for your kind words - much appreciated! Strange you should mention trees in winter - image #1176 on www.thepic.co.uk ('Three Trees' on this site in the Winter gallery) has just won a rather nice Canon camera for me in a competition in a national magazine.
I'll e-mail you on the other points you raised.

Dear Mr Sutton
just looking at your excellent photograph in September edition of Lancashire Life and wonder where I can purchase a copy ?
My wife and I are great fans of RA and were watching them at Windermere on the same day. We were greatly saddened by the recent death of Red 4 and we think this would make a fitting memorial. Thanks.
Thanks for that Paul. http://thepic.co.uk/photographers/

Great photos Ron - what sort of camera do you use? I'm working with a brilliant compact camera - Olympus Mu. It's great, waterproof, shockproof etc
